It’s a comfortable and cosy cottage in an excellent location by the sea, on the south side of Lowestoft. It was quite and peaceful. It’s an ideal location for young families, but also suited me as a single traveller and would suit a couple. The cottage is spacious, with a garden and downstairs bathroom, and a well stocked kitchen. I would happily stay here again. — Erik, 26 Jun 2026
Warm, well equipped seaman’s cottage with views onto the sea. Quiet location with some nice pubs in easy reach. Lovely to walk the dog on the beach morning and evening by just crossing the road. Access to the Broads within 10 min drive, Southwold in 20 and nice walk from the front door along the promenade to wide sandy Lowestoft beach. Hosts very pleasant and easy to communicate with. — Hazel, 02 Apr 2026
A very comfortable home with everything we needed. Really cosy and warm.

Hosts very welcoming and keen to please.Would definitely recommend.

We found the cottage perfect for our needs, as a couple with a dog. Pakefield is a dog friendly area, but is also great if you like walking and fantastic local pubs . The cottage is yards from two pubs, the beach, a fish and chip shop and wonderful local Art gallery — Gill, 19 Jan 2025
Absolutely brilliant. Nice, clean tidy house with amazing view from main bedroom.Trips to other places nearby like Beccles.Walked down the beach to Kessingland and got the bus back (check the tides if you want to do this).Went to Ness Point, cool to say that I went to Eastern most point of the country, but actual Lowestoft wasn't that nice in February when I went.Pakefield area much nicer.Walked to Oulton Broad South, lovely park there.Breakfast in The Thatch - very good. — Chris G, 02 Mar 2024
We spent a lovely week here in August. Despite the weather not cooperating 100% (we got three beach days and swam on four days) we had a really great holiday. The cottage is easy to find and beautifully situated with a sea view from the from bedroom. We were 1 min from Pakefield beach, which is wilder, with sand dunes and great rocks to explore. Then a pleasant 10 minute walk up the coastal path or beach to the beautiful sandy beach of Lowestoft. The cottage is a perfect size for a family of four and has every possible piece of equipment you could possibly want to make your stay comfortable. The owners were a phone call away if we needed anything (we didn't) and they have put together a brilliant pack of information about the cottage, where to visit, what to do and local amenities. The beds were lovely and comfortable - I never got tired of waking up to the sea in the morning. Sofas are lovely to sit in but almost impossible to get out of! Any time we thought of something we needed, we could find it, particularly in the kitchen. The garden is a nice size and gets a fair bit of sun. There are also lots of additional things, like beach chairs and wind breaks, as well as board games. I would definitely recommend Coastline Cottage to anyone looking for a restful seaside break in a gorgeous cottage with lots to do locally, good places to eat and shop for food and a really beautiful beach. — Debbie, 20 Aug 2021
Quite simply the best self catering accommodation I've ever stayed in. Beautiful cottage and the perfect location. I extended my stay by a week and am returning for another 2 weeks in August. Quite literally feels like a second home. — Steve, 30 Apr 2021
Very well appointed accommodation just a stone's throw from the beach. Lots of food outlets nearby. — Jonathan Allan
Superb week in the cottage, so clean, comfortable everything there you need. Would thoroughly recommend. Great location for exploring the the Suffolk coast and the Broads — Pauline
